no longer brings satisfaction
who is to say
that anything has been accomplished?
When blisters from picking at perfection
break
a practice becomes a chore.

Never let a closed mind become
grounds for locking out past experience
blister as it may
A simple truth is that without pain
there would be no learning
or satisfaction

I find this very true, and often ponder about this myself.
Something worth reminding ourselves from time to time.
